"Hold the hand of the child that lives in your soul, for this child, nothing is impossible." ~ Paulo Coelho Invite the pursuit of happiness to be your only priority, and enjoy the sweet harmony as it flows through your days.
As a child, I remember that summer was the time for exploration, discovery and play. There was just the right amount of time and freedom in each day to wander with imagination and discover joy in the little moments. What do you remain curious about? Is there something you've thought of trying but haven't felt daring enough or simply haven't made the time for? Perhaps it was something from your childhood. Children remain in their imagination for the first seven years of life. From this place, we are able to co-create and bring into manifestation our dreams, goals and desires. That sounds like a worthwhile pursuit to me! And since the inner child is ageless, why not keep her alive, loved and well-nourished? Don't let the busyness of a harried world silence the still small voice of the child within. Let your imagination come out and play. Remember, your thoughts are powerful, and your emotions are magnetizing. Allow yourself to see things through the innocence of a child with endless possibility and an open heart. One of the joys of summer for me is and always will be to ride the Ferris Wheel. For my 50th birthday, the pure girlish glee uplifted me way above the ground, the people and noise. There is a certain exhilaration in being lifted and carried skyward. There's such a sense of flying and freedom as the evening air holds me and the night sky sparkles like diamonds. Maybe yours is jumping out of a plane, riding on an elephant or even skinny dipping! What was something you enjoyed as a youngster that can uplift your inner child? Let your imagination come out and play, and your heart and spirit soar as you indulge in the simple pleasures of a life well-lived. Comments are closed.
