A Glimpse Into Your Future

Have you ever wished you could look into your very own crystal ball – to catch a shimmery glimpse into your future? 

Although we know this isn't possible, what is it you would like to see? Would it be the perfect house on an island far away or a cozy mountain chalet? Perhaps it would be a trip around the world or to sail the seven seas. 
More importantly, how do you feel when you are there? How do you feel in your body? In your mind and in your heart? When you listen with all your senses, what are they telling you? 

Who are you there with? Perhaps you are with a friend, a partner or relative. How do you enjoy spending your time together? Do you feel supported, appreciated and loved?

When we make a conscious choice to be fully present, we realize we have everything we need already within us. We might have that perfect house on an island, but we will bring everything with us. Any thoughts of lack, fear, worry or doubt – are all the things that keep us stuck and unable to live fully in the present moment. When we are able to practice living fully in the present, there is no worry or fear, only possibility. 

An invitation...

I invite you to begin your day in silence, and with gratitude, ask your higher self how she is feeling and what she needs. It may be solitude. It may be more activity, more play, a new project, more organization or simplifying your life. Keep it simple! You and you alone are the one that can give her what she needs, as often as she needs it. We can only listen when we become fully present. 

Let this be your sacred time to make "you" your number 1 priority:

  • Accept where you are right now and honor yourself exactly as you are.
  • Pay attention to your needs and honor your body, mind and spirit.
  • Nourish yourself through the practice of mindfulness, meditation and prayer.
  • The mind believes everything we tell it. Make it good!
  • Strengthen the body through daily exercise – it does not need to be vigorous, we simply need to move.
  • Remember, our greatest teacher is mother nature herself. Spend time outdoors as often as you can. 
  • Do something that brings you daily joy.

Beginning your day this way is very grounding and empowering, and remember, what we do today creates our tomorrows!
